Cookie Policy
Effective 1 August 2026 · Updated 1 August 2026
The short version
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (including localStorage) that Juice Factory uses. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
We keep it minimal. Essential storage is always on because the app cannot work without it. Analytics runs only if you consent; the default is off. Advertising cookies are not active; if we ever enable them, they will require your separate, explicit consent first.
Google Tag Manager is loaded with Google Consent Mode v2 set to denied by default: no analytics or advertising cookies are set, and you are not identified, unless and until you consent. With Consent Mode, Google may receive a cookieless signal that reflects your denied choice; it sets no cookies and does not identify you.
What we use
| Name | Provider | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
jf-consent * | Juice Factory | Essential (cookie) | Remembers your cookie choices | 12 months |
sb-zpinphbndzssrqgndbbp-auth-token * | Supabase | Essential (localStorage) | Keeps your anonymous identity / session so creations and pins persist | Until cleared |
| Turnstile token | Cloudflare | Essential (short-lived token) | Invisible bot protection when you perform sensitive actions; no persistent cookie in normal operation | Minutes |
_ga | Google Analytics | Analytics (consent only) | Distinguishes visitors | 24 months |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Analytics (consent only) | Keeps session state | 24 months |
* Exact technical names may vary slightly with app updates; this table is kept current with each policy revision.
We do not currently use any advertising or remarketing cookies.
Your choice
On your first visit you will see a consent banner where you can accept all, reject non-essential, or set preferences. You can change your mind at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops analytics immediately and applies from that point on.
Third parties
Analytics cookies are set by Google (GA4 via Google Tag Manager) subject to Google’s own policies, and only after your consent. Cloudflare Turnstile runs in invisible mode for bot protection; see Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum for details.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Note that blocking essential storage will break the app. For example, your creations and pins will no longer persist.
